What's your story for this year?

The Story That We Tell  The story that we tell about what we must do or be, or say, deafens us to music that is ours alone to play. The story that is ours to live completely is a mystery to us – because we are busy telling ourselves stories that no longer fit – until we wake one day and see life with newly opened eyes, full of surprise.

Once upon a time.....

What do these words conjure up for you? Stories are woven into our lives from an early age. Fairy stories. Nursery rhymes. Tales of the family. The heroes and the villains , painted to illustrate the path our parents and caregivers would like to steer us towards and away from. But what of the path we long to uncover for ourselves?

If you are curious about your story, then I warmly welcome you to this online circle. We will uncover the symbols and images that carry meaning for you; discover which stories have shaped your thinking, feeling and being and how. You will learn to “read" your story to mine it for deeper understanding. What does it hold for you? Why might you be drawn to it? How does it influence the stories you tell yourself about life and love? How can you find, create and choose the stories that will nourish and support your wellbeing and growth?

Drawing on the wisdom of Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés,  and her book Women Who Run with the Wolves, I will guide you through an intimate process of self-discovery through story wisdom. If you would like to understand the power of your stories and start the year crafting an intentional story, then come and join us.

We will meet on Zoom for an evening session on Thursday 10 March: 19.30 - 20.30 to get to know one another, and to set some intentions for our dreaming hours before the main story circle, also on Zoom  on Friday 11 March 09.00-12.00.

We will be a small group of no more than 10 people.
